       The Mangala Mahila Mandal Sanstha is contributing greatly to society and human health. One of the major goals of the Saanstha is to offer the society a suitable health facility. The first step towards achieving the goal was the founding of the Mangala Institute of Nursing Education in 2010. Since then, we have continued to work towards achieving our goal.        The National Rural Health Mission seeks to dramatically enhance the nation's health system and health condition, and the ANM curriculum strives to prepare competent and productive female health workers to accomplish these goals. ANM/GNM/B.Sc(Nursing) community health abilities to provide basic healthcare at the established degree of proficiency in line with local circumstances and needs. The programme also conforms to both the general education pattern and the nursing education system. Purpose:       The ANM/GNM and B.Sc(Nursing) courses are designed to train an ANM to work at the community level or village with specialised abilities to meet the community's health requirements. She will serve as a vital conduit between the local population and the medical community. General Objective:       On completion of the course, the ANM/GNM/B.Sc(Nursing) will be able to: 1. Appreciate the concept of holistic health and understanding influence of socioeconomic & environmental factors on the health status of the community. 2. Identify health problems/needs and resources in the community and mobilize social support and active participation of the community in health care actitvities. 3. Provide preventive, promotive, restorative and emergency health care to individuals and community as required. 4. Provide Treatment of minor ailments. 5. Provide skilled midwifery services to all mothers in the community and refer mothers at risk to hospitals. 6. Provides skilled care to all neonates in community and refer neonates at risk to the appropriate levels. 7. Render skilled child care services at home, clinic & school. 8. Guide/Train birth attendance, anganwadi workers (AWW)s, other community health activities & volunteers. 9. Provide need-based information & counseling related to health of individuals , family & groups. 10. Participate in all National health & Family welfare Programme at community level. 11. Act as a team member in the health care delivery system. 12. Coordinate and collaborate with the other health team members & community based organization, non-govt. organization (NGO) & village administration. 13. Manage the health center including equipments and supplies and maintain the records in order to provide quality based people friendly services. 14. Updates knowledge and skills for professionals and personal growth. Mangala Institute Of Nursing Education has been approved by: 1. Indian Nursing Council (New Delhi) 2.
